RELEASE: In 1988, drummer Brenden Peace posted an ad on the wall of
Phantom Records in Sydney. Guitarist/singer Billy Hughes answered that
ad and together they formed the shortlived 'King Pest'. Whilst still
underage they played a handful of pub shows but disbanded a year later
when their bass player was sent to boarding school to remove him from
the band's undesirable influence.
