ORAL HISTORY:

"This was a fucking hectic night. There was a reason not much happened in Dapto. Everything was fine during the day, but the trouble started near the end of the show. During The Last Hemeroids set, I was sitting/lying on the stage, mainly to stop Ron's kick drum sliding away when he was playing. One of the infamous local pissheads came up to the front of the stage trying to get Marv's (The Last Hemeroids) attention. He offered the mic, and old mate said something along the lines of "Fuck you cunt, I'll stab every one of ya", and took a swing at Marv. Obviously, this was not received well, and a decemt-sized brawl broke out. At the end of the show, The Last Hemeroids were loading their gear and a couple of locals helped... turns out they were mates of the aforementioned local drunk who started the fight, and when the band was in the car (with guitars and keyboards, etc., sitting in their laps, mind you), these guys that had been helping started punching out the car windows. Ron (The Last Hemeroids) floored it at that point and got the fuck outta there whilst Marv was trying to crawl out the window to punch on with 'em. Good times."
