SUMMARY: Below the Belt were a three-piece punk band based in Penrith. Bassist Allan Stone, who was in Year 10 at the time, met the other two members (aged 19 and 20) through his older brother. Influenced by a wide range of bands such as Strung Out, Toe to Toe, The Porkers, and Slayer, the band rehearsed at Adrift Studios in North Penrith.
Adam O'Sullivan took the band to Zen Studios and helped them record their EP. The band was also present at the infamous Melrose Hall show (which was shutdown by police after a brawl involving some local gang members), during which Stone was knocked out by a punch to the back of the head and Easton was seriously injured. The trio stopped playing in 2000.

- Prankfest 2, Civic Centre, Katoomba - 26th August, 2000
