ORAL HISTORY:
"Jamie was the older brother of my school mate David Kirk. He would take us to gigs, he got 1 guitar lesson to figure out how to solo in pentatonic, then asked myself, my brother, and our friend Barney to play with him. He never told us what the name of the band meant. He was obsessed with Smudge, Lemonheads, etc. He put on a gig in his garage in Mt Riv once, which was fun. All his songs were about the same girl who broke up with him."
Mark Alston, Noise Levels correspondence, 2024
